CARING ABOUT YOUR WELLBEING:
New gloves, disinfected cups and Gua Sha tools, and a new massage table cover for each client.
Cupping and Gua Sha products can be considered Semi Critical Medical Devices because they most commonly are in contact with the skin. ONLY sanitized equipment and supplies are used for each client.
Cupping Therapy cleaning procedure:
STEP 1- CLEANING
When a treatment is completed, the cups / Gua Sha tools are submerged in warm soapy dish detergent water and soak until ready to be cleaned. Soaking helps keep the lubricants (oils, lotions, creams) and other particles from sticking to the cups / tools. After rinsing the cups / tools, the cups / tools are let to dry naturally on a clean cloth to prevent microbial growth.
STEP 2- HIGH LEVEL DISINFECTION
The cups / tools are disinfected using Cavi Disinfection Wipes (Hospital grade) and / or 7.5% Hydrogen Peroxide
(soaking the cups / tools for 30 Minutes in Hydrogen Peroxide solution).
Once the cups / tools are completely dried, the cups / tools are stored in a closed dry container to prevent bacteria and airborne contaminants.
Cupps Wellness Therapy is committed to providing you with a safe environment and pleasant experience!
